About Us

Welcome

Hello there! Thank you for checking out our page.  We are excited to share our beautiful dogs with you!  We are Broken Halo Ranch LLC,  Im Liz, a retired nurse and currently run our farm and care for our dogs, my husband is retired military.  We got our first shih tzu back in 2005 and fell in love with the breed.  We raised them for several years along side our English Bulldogs, before deciding to take a break and focus solely on our English Bulldog program, which has flourished over the past two decades. My children are now grown and we have decided to build our Shih program back up.  We are very excited to see where this goes.  We currently have AKC Shih- Tzu as well as our sought after merle CKC  Shih-poo and Shih Tzu.  They have all been health tested to allow us to make the best pairings possible.


  Our dogs are our family, They are treated like my children and give me so much joy.  All puppies are raised in the home around other dogs and our cat Clarity, (who thinks she's a dog)

Socialization

Our puppies begin socialization from birth, through implementing early neurological stimulation techniques. This allows puppies to learn to manage stress and become well rounded adults

We are currently located in Central Texas between Austin and Waco, Tx.
